The Star Spangled Spoon

I don't know what I love more about this book, the spoon with the top hat on the front cover or the fact that the content inside is handwritten (I love love love a handwritten cookbook).  Or it could be the fact that it's chock full of recipes from First Ladies across the United States at the time of South Carolina's Tricentennial Celebration in 1970.  Notable political wives are Nancy Reagan, Rosalynn Carter, and Pat Nixon (First Lady of the USA at the time).  The recipes are varied and fun, but the cookbook itself is a charmer.
