Shop Notes:
This is a great little cookbook from The Junior League of Columbus, Georgia, published in 1979. Once owned by a past president of the Junior League of Raleigh.
The "Soups and Sandwiches" chapter is quite good, full of fast and easy-to-prepare soups that lean towards frozen and canned ingredients that aren't chock full of chemicals and corn syrup like a lot of canned soups today. The recipes really are written for clarity which makes this a fantastic cookbook for someone who wants to enjoy vintage recipes for the first time. The Cookies and Desserts chapters are classic Southern goodness.
